On the ninth month and the ninth day,

Up the Dragon Mountain I drank there.

The yellow flowers smiled at me–

The banished person from the court.

I was drunk while the dance started–

I saw the wind blow off my hat.

Oh how I loved the dance!

Even the moon asked me to stay.

九日龍山飲,黃花笑逐臣。

醉看風落帽,舞愛月留人。
